Despite the forecasts of bad weather, the sunshine held out and an enjoyable
weekend was had by all. It was noticable that the show was smaller than
previous years but perhaps the £10 entrance price for Joe Public put off quite
a few of the regulars. The Autojumble was as big as usual however, and several
bargains were to be found amongst all the traditional kit car spares. It is
always a good opportunity to stock up the garage for the coming year with all
those essentials. The stand had a total of over a dozen cars during the course
of the weekend with over 9 tents and caravans on the stand (there seems to be
more caravans each year….are we all get old and arthritic ??) A big thanks to
all those folks who brought along ingredients for the stew pot.a great way to
warm you up on a cold April evening/morning!
